Following the recent strategic announcement by SAP, the mainstream support for it’s ECC solution portfolio will soon come to an end. The End of Life (EOL) for SAP ECC 6.0 was set for 2027, with the option for extended maintenance until 2030. After 2027, there would be no mainstream support provided by SAP and what does this means for existing organisations or users on board? Users who stays put with the current version may find themselves without any new feature releases, no bugs or patch fixes and also absence of any local regulatory updates.
